Sandra Rousselle is a strategic and innovative human resources executive and business leader with a unique perspective and appreciation for optimizing human capital.  She is a trusted business partner recognized for delivering full support, solutions, and positively impacting organizational performance and the employee experience.  With more than 25 years of global human resources leadership, Sandra has guided organizations through transformation and growth while fostering strong teams and resilient cultures.  

Sandra currently serves as Vice President of People Operations and Public Affairs at Mevion Medical Systems, a company pioneering compact proton therapy systems for cancer treatment. Since joining Mevion in 2018, she has helped shape a collaborative, mission-driven workplace and advanced programs that strengthen leadership, employee engagement, and professional growth.

In addition to her HR expertise, she leads Mevion’s public affairs efforts, cultivating strategic partnerships with community organizations and elected officials across Massachusetts.  Her People Operations Team also includes Mevion’s Information Technology and Training Departments, both of which have been significantly transformed under her leadership.  Sandra’s previous experience includes senior leadership positions at Advanced Instruments LLC, Fresenius Medical Care, and Hollingsworth & Vose Company. A certified SPHR and SHRM-SCP, she has previously served as a Subject Matter Expert for the Human Resources Certification Institute.  She is also a Certified Practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Sandra currently lives in Grafton, Massachusetts with her husband and two children.  She is proud to serve on the American Cancer Society Eastern New England Area Board of Directors, supporting efforts to expand access to care and accelerate progress against cancer.
