Frederick Hussey

Morgan Stanley

Fred began his career in the financial services industry in 1986 with UBS (formerly PaineWebber). After an extensive due diligence process, Fred’s goal of finding a firm with a shared vision led him and the team to Morgan Stanley in 2009. Fred is a graduate of Babson College, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Communications. Fred obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification in 1999.


Not only is Fred committed to his business, but also to giving back to the community. He currently sits on the board of the South Shore Special Needs Athletic Partnership and previously sat on the board of the Hingham Sports Partnership. He was a member of the Resurrection’s Parish Council in Hingham. He has spent numerous years coaching Hingham Youth Soccer and recently assisted in coaching the Hingham High School Boys JV Soccer Team. After losing his mom to breast cancer in 1984, Fred became closely involved with the American Cancer Society. He is an active member of the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society’s Eastern New England Division and served as Chair 2020-2022.  He has been a participant in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Boston since 1997, and in 2008, he was honored with the American Cancer Society’s Sandra C. Labaree Award for his continued involvement in both Boston Strides and Real Men Wear Pink. Fred was a 2013 Nominee for the Expect Miracles Awards and a 2014 recipient of the Morgan Stanley Community Leadership Award. In 2022, Fred was a finalist for the Invest in Others Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the American Cancer Society. 


Fred lives in Hingham, MA with his wife, Tracy, and dog, Maui. Fred and Tracy’s three children, Carly, Heather, and Will all reside in South Boston.
